I am looking to grow in the arts. I am a highly skilled Designer and Maker, with experience in costume design and Fashion Production. I have been working as an Assistant/Associate Designer at Lane Bryant for their Dresses and Skirts departments.
These experiences, along with my extensive research in textiles, and hands on pattern making while costuming has made me successful in tackling a department that covers wovens/knits/ and fully fashioned sweaters. I plan to keep seeking more opportunities to grow in skill, wether that is alongside the similar categories or to branch out to new exciting product lines.
My goal in my career is to take my industry knowledge and be able to apply it to creating maker spaces that shares materials and skills to help build community and space to create.
