Anneke Solomon

I have over a decade of experience tutoring and academically mentoring students of various ages from different socioeconomic backgrounds. I specialize in writing and the humanities, and I efficiently aid in college entrance exams and college applications. I am capable of tutoring various subjects, including French.

In regard to academics, I analyze the learning style of each individual student to cater to their needs. My mentoring extends beyond academics, furthermore, as I believe in making a difference in the lives of students. I practice integrity, empathy, and humility, as I may learn as much from the student as (s)he from me.

I have over a decade of experience privately mentoring and tutoring students, aged preschool to university, from different socioeconomic backgrounds and with special needs. I tutor in various subjects, specializing in writing and the humanities. I have years of experience in tutoring centers as well. I have worked in a preschool for students with disabilities and behavioral issues in North Carolina, and I have mentored and written coursework for the nonprofit Mighty Writers of Philadelphia.

I have two degrees from Columbia University in the city of New York-- a BA in English and an MA in Anthropology. I have an additional MA in English from the College of New Jersey. I am an efficient and talented writer, my writing style narrative whilst remaining scholarly. I have experience working with the sociopolitical minority of the Roma, a migratory group that travels between France and Romania.
