I tutor children aged 4-9 years on weeknights anytime after 4pm
I have eleven years of experience in the classroom filling several different roles. The majority of my career has been spent at inner city Charter Schools and private schools. I have worked as the Lead teacher, Co-teacher, Instructional Assistant, Paraprofessional, Classroom Aide and, daily and long-term Substitute.
I have worked with students in all grades but mostly in the primary grades. I have a lot of experience working with students who have ADD, ODD, ID, Down Syndrome, and students who are on the Spectrum. I am able to read and apply Individualized Educational Plans and have attended several CST meetings. I communicate regularly with my students’ families to ensure that they are being supported at home as well as in the classroom.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Rowan University.
