I believe that I have the unique skill sets, educational experiences, and academic background which make me the ideal candidate for the open faculty line. My professional assignment as a faculty member at Florida Gulf Coast University has presented its own challenges for developing and growing the entrepreneurship school and preparing me for further opportunities to serve the field of education in new ways. This application for the position of teacher is motivated by a belief that my work in creating and growing programs, specifically the Daveler and Kauanui Entrepreneurship School at Florida Gulf Coast University, has equipped me to develop and strengthen targeted programs.
Among the attributes I would bring to the role include a career of progressively complex and successful program development efforts across organizations, excellent interpersonal skills, and thorough knowledge of the educational strategies provided by my experience in operating programs for the private and public sectors. Together these characteristics will enable me to design, implement, evaluate, and scale programs to achieve new levels of excellence.

Senior Instructor of Entrepreneurship – Responsible for teaching a wide array of entrepreneurship courses at the undergraduate level. Actively participated in the DKE School for Entrepreneurship development through work on various projects and committees. Growing and scaling the second largest major at Florida Gulf Coast University by contributing to a productive team environment that generates effective teaching, scholarship, and service.
Contributed to a climate that increases communication, develops a culture of assessment and that manages conflict. Serve as Program Leader for Entrepreneurship 2000, the Entrepreneurship Live Learn Community and the Arts focus for the entrepreneurship degree.
