My name’s Anthony Andrews. I’m currently a sophomore political science major at Yale University and a former member of the varsity football team. I’m a naturally persistent person and have been through a lot of different situations to test my resiliency. In high school, there was a class that I just couldn’t master, but I worked with my teacher to get the best grade that I possibly could instead of accepting a terrible grade. I participated in a job fellowship program for 6 months during the last year where we worked with multiple Fortune 500 companies to get hands-on experience mainly via case competitions. During my time with the program, I was a part of the Operations track where I learned about what an operations department looks like and how it functions. I have worked in along the lines of human resources in every job that I have worked at so I have experience with my people skills. Due to my experience on the varsity football team here at Yale, I work best in a team environment where I am able to bounce ideas off of a group and find solutions as a team. Due to my experience on the football team, I am also a fast learner who pays attention to minute details.
