I began my career in 2000 as a firefighter and spent the next 25 years advancing through every rank, ultimately serving as Chief of Department. In that role, I led 125 personnel across four firehouses and managed 12 pieces of apparatus, overseeing all operations, training, and emergency response.
In 2015, I founded Healthcare Life Safety Consultants, LLC, a firm specializing in life safety and emergency preparedness compliance for healthcare facilities. Today, we support more than 90 sites, providing emergency drills, fire extinguisher training, and facility compliance services in accordance with CMS and accreditation standards.
I am currently managing the business remotely and seeking a new professional opportunity where I can apply my leadership, operational management, and compliance expertise in a dynamic environment.
I was employed at the Hackensack Fire Department from 2000-2025, where I was a fire fighter from 2000-2012, Lieutenant 2012-2019, Captain 2019-2022, Deputy Chief 2022-2024 and Chief from 2024-2025.
I'm also the owner of Healthcare Life Safety Consultants LLC, 2015-Current.
In addition to being a certified firefighter, I have held a Fire Inspector license since 2006 and a Fire Instructor license since 2010. I am also a certified NFPA Life Safety Specialist for Healthcare Facilities. My professional credentials include certifications in Hazardous Materials Operations, Confined Space Rescue, Building Collapse Operations, Safety Officer, and High-Angle Rescue.
I also possess extensive knowledge of fire suppression systems and building construction, and I am credentialed as a Level III Incident Manager.
