Apoorva Choudhary

I am Apoorva choudhary, having worked alongside acclaimed filmmakers such as Alam Sidiqqui and Anu Malhotra, I have had the privilege of serving as an Assistant Director on impactful projects such as the docu-fiction film "Perfume Smiles" and the docu-project "Tribal Wisdom Series." These experiences have not only honed my skills in storytelling and visual communication but have also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of media to inspire change and foster understanding.

In addition to my work in the film industry, I have collaborated with diverse organizations such as Goonj and FoxyMoron, where I contributed to projects ranging from sustainable product initiatives to advertisement pitches. These opportunities have afforded me a holistic view of media and communication, allowing me to understand the intricacies of navigating various media landscapes and engaging with diverse audiences.

My academic journey further reinforces my commitment to the field. I hold a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles, and a master's degree in Cultural, Media, and Governance from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. My bachelor's degree from Delhi School of Arts and Commerce, Delhi University, provided me with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of media and communication.

With a diverse background spanning various facets of media and communication, I have accumulated valuable experience and insights from notable assignments, including:

• Assistant Director for the feature film "White Vinigga."
• Assistant Director for filmmaker Alam Sidiqqui's docu-fiction film "Perfume Smiles."
• Contribution to filmmaker and producer Anu Malhotra's docu-project "Tribal Wisdom Series."
• Engagement with the non-profit organization Goonj on a Sustainable Product Project.
