I began my career at Texas Children's Hospital in 1995 as a Care Extender, serving from October 9, 1995 to March 29, 1997. My title then changed to Patient Care Assistant, a position I help from March 30, 1997, until August 14, 2000. I was subsequently rehired as a Patient Access Representative in the Emergency Center from September 10, 2007, to February 21, 2015. I later returned as a Patient and Family Advocate from May 15, 2017 to August 6, 2024 at which I was at that point, I was unfortunately laid off due to company cut backs.
I have obtained my GED and completed several prerequisite courses at HCC Coummunity College.
