Ashley Barajas

I've been in the field since 2013. I have experience in multiple aspects of the field, from general practice to emergency to teaching and even some rescue/volunteer work. I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge and abilities.

Would love to find a position on a higher level with more responsibilities. I am currently working on my LAT certification. I have experience with most pet types, including exotics and some experience with large animals.

I take great pride in my work and perform to the highest of standards.

In my career, I have worked in a variety of settings. I feel having a diverse background and experiences helps to make me more adaptive and a bigger asset to the companies I work with. I have done rescue/shelter medicine, general practice, emergency and critical care, etc. I have also worked in a teaching capacity and training. I have earned my ALAT and currently working on my LAT certification.

I have worked in research related settings where SOPs are important and highly stressed. Have helped to ensure that animal models are used following the R's of research. Currently have my ALAT
