Austin Lee

I am currently a forensic consultant at Ernst and Young. I passed all four sections of the CFE exam. Currently gaining experience to gain full licensure.

I worked at PwC as a tax associate in the SALT Financial Services. I prepared partnership returns, schedule K-1s, and corporate returns for private equity funds and real estate funds using variety of software’s such as Alteryx, Excel, Track, and Gosystem. 

I am currently a forensic consultant in the Investigations and Compliance team at Ernst and Young. I conduct investigations for clients on a variety of potentially fraudulent activity. I perform deletion analysis, email reviews, and participate in interviews throughout an investigation.

I assist clients with their anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance audits by participating in interviews to understand policies, controls, and process. I analyze client’s accounting data to test sample selections, perform documentation reviews, and prepare reports in-line with client expectation. I work closely with staffs and interns to help their professional development, including reviewing work, providing feedback, and helping them get adjusted to the community 

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a BS in Accountancy. I am a Certified Public Accountant and passed all four sections of the CFE exam. I am currently gaining experience to gain full licensure.
