I have taught at Friends School of Baltimore for eleven years. The past seven years I have served as a full time Pre-First associate teacher. Prior to this have also worked as a Lower School visual arts teacher, as well as in their aftercare program.
Additionally I taught visual arts camp since 2015. I hold a range of experience teaching a variety of artistic mediums, and culturally diverse curriculum. I have had experience differentiating content to different learning styles, to adequately accommodate students of all backgrounds and experiences.
I am professional artist, and have regularly exhibited my work in the Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania area. I frequently have shown at the Roger Lappelle Gallery in Philadelphia.
I hold a Masters in Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of Art, as well as Bachelors in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute. Most recently I have completed all the course in the Notre Dame University of Maryland towards my teaching certification in K-12 Art. I still need to complete an internship to receive the certification.
