Re: Freelancing Materials Engineer (SME) Consultant / Engineering Manager.
Addition experience includes but not limited to processing engineering techniques related to manufacturing Ni/Fe/Co-base, super alloys, Nickel Titanium, Gold alloys, Conducting metals, Supper conductors, Semiconductors, dielectric materials, insulators, Carbon –carbon, graphite composites, Ceramics and polymers, to name a few.
Working knowledge of wrought metals processing (i.e., melting, press forging, radial forging, hot rolling, conditioning, heat treatment, etc.). Possesses an understanding and ability to clearly explain metallurgical principles critical to metals processing (e.g., recrystallization, strengthening mechanisms, and microstructure- property relationships)
Bassey enjoys the variety that the Metallurgical Engineering of Materials job holds. It may involve few days in the office interrogating data, reviewing manufacturing details, or he may be called out to the manufacturing shop floor to provide technical expertise (a Subject Matter Expert) in Materials Science (Metal and non metal casting, metal and plastic Extrusion, superplastic forming, Metal Joining - brazing, molding and Sintering, Welding, Machining, Thermal Plasma Spray coating, Cementation, Heat Treating, and their alloys, Carbon- Graphite fiber composite materials, glass fiber, Ceramic and polymer composites, MIMC, Glass to metal fusion, metallization behavior processed needing control.
Metallurgist:Welding, Brazing, Vacuum Furnace operation, Instructor-Semiconductor Chips manufacturing- Thin Film deposition, Metallography, Advisor, Surface finishing, Plating, Coating, Metal Joining, Wastewater treatment, Soldering, Auditing, Source certifying Agent, Heat Treating, Stamping, Etching, Galvanizing, foundry, CVD, Sintering, plastic molding and extrusion, insulation lay up, Filament winding and cure processes), polymer additive materials, Sputtering, Ion Implantation. He also has good knowledge about Sputtering, Physical Vapor deposition, Batteries electrode development, Carbon-Carbon infiltration, composites, Metal–Ceramic fusion, • CNC and Lathe Machining, Superplastic forming, Forging, Stamping, Galvanizing, Cladding, HVAC,
