My role encompassed a wide range of tasks aimed at developing a competitive and cohesive team. I oversee all aspects of player development, including designing and implementing training programs, conducting practice sessions, and providing feedback to enhance skills and performance.
My responsibilities included assisting with the coordination of athletic events, managing game-day operations, and supporting coaches and staff in various capacities. I was involved in attending TAPPSCON, a conference for all of the private schools in the state of Texas to network and discuss the new bylaws for the upcoming school year. During this internship, I logged 400 hours, working very closely with the Athletic Director.
The forum emphasized leadership development, career planning, and the importance of ethical decision-making in sports. Through interactive workshops, networking sessions, and presentations by industry leaders, I gained a deeper understanding of the diverse roles available in sports management, coaching, and administration.
