Ben Maenke

Hi, I am set to be a graduate from Bradley University with a degree in Sports Communication, with a minor in Public Relations/Marketing. I am set to graduate in May, where I am looking to continue my work beyond college. I have loads of experience in multiple fields and will look to use my skills wherever I land.

I have a vast variety of professional experience. I recently interned at the NFL Draft this past April in Detroit. In my time I was able to assist the draft process by coordinating the media, players and other staff to there positions. Additionally, I have worked for the Peoria Mustangs, a Tier-III level hockey organization where I have been able to work in game day operations, broadcasting, camera and social media work in my time. Finally, working with Bradley University, I have been able to be a part of the broadcast team at this university, announcing and filming hundreds of sporting events in my time.

I am set to walk away with a bachelor's degree in Sports Communication, with a minor in Public Relations/Marketing. This experience has given me the tools and knowledge needed to success fit into the sports world and do great work. I have been able to learn skills related to editing articles, writing them, broadcasting, as well as knowing the ins and outs within organizations from my education to successfully integrate beyond college.
