I have been fascinated by math and technology all my life and have ten years of experience in areas including working with statistical data, computer programming, and web design. I believe that technology should be used to make the more difficult aspects of life easier, and so I seek to make my products polished, organized, and easy for consumers to understand and use.
Majoring in computer science and math has given me excellent technical skills; I have excelled in my classwork and enjoy meeting challenges. Personally, I have a strong work ethic and am a friendly, resourceful team member. I truly enjoy the diversity of people and problem-solving that is the heart of working on a team: I love the excitement of collaborative inspiration.
I have significant experience working in teams to iteratively build workable, client-based solutions, across a wide range of software contexts. Much of this experience has come through summer programs at Tech Kids Unlimited (which I have attended since 2016), and I also interned as a web designer for the Joan Ganz Cooney Center @ Sesame Workshop in the summer of 2020. In the summer of 2021, I worked on a four-person team, as part of Vassar’s Undergraduate Research Summer Institute, to implement, test, and optimize Java algorithms to work with simple temporal networks.
In that capacity, I performed regular development, testing and logging tasks in Git, often in two-person coding tandems, for progressively integrating individual algorithms into the team’s final product.
I recently graduated from Vassar College with a double B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics, a 4.0 GPA, and general as well as departmental honors.
