Turnaround Lead Planner / Hydrocarbons Lead Planner - Kelly Services at DOW SCO - DOW SCO
(2020-01)
I am currently a Turnaround Lead Planner for Kelly Services at DOW SCO. In my 7 years on site, I have planned all Mega & Major Turnarounds multiple times. I carry out the role to plan efficient/safe jobs that are executed in turnarounds.
I build work packages through SAP with insight from the technicians in the field performing the work. In addition to the packages, insulation/scaffold and contractor quotes are stored within TEAMS and once those quotes are available the proper pricing/hours are filled out on a cost sheet. In Q1 2025 I was given Hydrocarbons Lead Planner responsibilities where I oversee reviewing job plans for a planner group of (8 total) MECH/INST & CRE & also project planners.
With the addition of lead planner my role my responsibilities have shifted from instruments to multi-crafts of reviewing all job plans to ensure proper contractor craft work centers are being used & proper completed packages are created. After job reviews are complete, I then move in to scheduling reviews to ensure proper headcount/hours are allocated correctly to fit our management needs. Afterwards I coordinate with our materials management team & assure lead times are correct per job to m
Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Planner / Offshore Operator - Schlumberger - Houma, LA
(2006-01 - 2020-12)
Performed flawless execution to customers on downhole valves that supplied getting oil retracted below the seafloor. Through my 14-year journey there I cross trained in Surface maintenance and subsea maintenance as well. I became a maintenance planner along the way utilizing our downhole tools for certain clients & allocating certain pressure tools for job wells.
I oversaw knowing downhole pressure & temperature conditions that the downhole tools withstood that would indicate to me what type of maintenance the tools needed when they returned. While cross training into other departments I learned a wide variety of operations from oil/water separations at surface floor to 30K psi valves that cut through pipe in case of emergency. Reliability became my expertise over the years that I pride myself on and continue to do so.
I obtained many classes on LEAN and reliability that aided me to furthering my time into management type roles at Schlumberger. For 8 years at Schlumberger, I worked inside a calibration lab where I calibrated downhole gauges & surface transmitters. Referring to zero reference through a deadweight tester, I was able to follow software to pass or fail the equipment.
