Hi,

I am interested in transitioning from being a captain of a 120 foot private yacht to land based employment. I have been working in the service and management industry for the past ten years. While I love it, I would like to spend less time traveling and move to a permanent long term position in the same area of work.

I am motivated, organized with a calm positive attitude. I have experience managing people, hiring and firing, as well as book keeping and using management software. I hope to find a good fit where I can use my skills and excel making people lives easier.

Most recently, I have 5 years experience managing a private 120 foot yacht for a family based out of Naples. This includes managing a crew of 4, overseeing all projects from crew and contractors, record keeping and managing guests and owners needs. This includes everything from trip planning, onboard chef duties, hiring and firing employees, contacting contractors and overseeing projects while maintaining first class service and appearance.

I have a bachelor of science in Kinesiology. More recently I have taken coast guard licensed classes in Leadership, Captains license and 3 engineering courses.

The most relevant education I have is on the job experience managing large yachts for the last 7 years.
