Full time student at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Head programmer and programming team lead for the SDSMT VEX U competitive robotics team.
My most relevant experience I have is being the head programmer and programming team lead of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology VEX U robotics team. In this position I am in charge of developing, testing, and maintaining user controlled and autonomous robotics systems, training and onboarding new programmers that join the team, and delegating tasks related to these systems development, testing, and maintenance to other programmers on the team. I am also responsible for ensuring usage of proper and consistent coding standards and git etiquette across the team.
I am perusing a B.S.
Science degree at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. My relevant courses include test driven software development, programming techniques, software engineering, data structures and algorithms, and RISC assembly. I also did my first semester at Montana State University - Bozeman, where I took web development and design and an introductory Python course.
I am experienced with C++, C#, Python, HTML, and CSS. I have a little bit of experience with Java as well. I am comfortable with both functional and object oriented programming.
