This past week, I finished my internship with the Center for Innovation in Ship Design at the NCSW with the ONR. In my work I was able to learn about the ship design spiral, utilizing skills to perform a hullform study and develop 3D models of both the Coast Guard and Navy designs of our vessel. I would like to thank everyone who made this summer so fun and educational, including all of the CISD Senior Staff, my team lead William Leal, and my fellow team members Fiona McCue and Colby Scott.
