I have been with West Seneca schools for 4 years now. I am also currently enrolled in Buffalo State’s Special Education Program completing my Masters Degree. I love not only providing education to my students but also being there for them in a way that makes their day enjoyable and meaningful. It's important to me to create a positive, supportive environment where they feel valued and motivated to learn.
I have 4.5 years of experience as an aide, working with students in grades 1-5. Throughout this time, each year has allowed me to develop a diverse skill set, including classroom management, individualized instruction, differentiated learning strategies, student assessment support, fostering positive student relationships, collaborating with teachers and staff, and adapting to various learning styles and needs.
I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) in May 2024. During my studies, I had the opportunity to student teach, where I gained hands-on experience in developing lesson plans, managing classrooms, and supporting diverse student needs. I am now pursuing my Master's in Special Education (K-12), furthering my commitment to enhancing my teaching skills and understanding how to best support students with varying learning abilities.
