Respiratory Therapist RRT with over 30 years experience. I have ACLS, PALS, NRP and CPR. I've spent half my career in NICUs and half in Adult Critical Care. This along with. PFTs and Hyperbaric Medicine.

Experience

• PFT team at Valley Medical Center
• NICU, Pediactric, ICU, SICU, MICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, CCU, ER, Neuro ICU, Trauma and Labor & Delivery experience.
• Adult / Infant and Neonate Ventilators include; Drager VN500 Babylog, Servo I, Sensor Medics High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator, Puritan Bennett 840, Servo 300, Bear 1, Infant Star, Bourns Bear Cub and. Home ventilators include; LTV 950, LP-6, and LP-10 and others. Transport ventilators include; Newport E100, Cross Vent and others.
• Management of Adult and infant CPAP and BiPap including, Airlife infant NCPAP, Respironics, Aladdin infant NCPAP, Vision and several “home” CPAP and BiPap machines.
• Administration and instruction of hand-held nebs, I.S., MDI's, Incentive Spirometry, EKGs, HeliOx, High Flow O2, Vapotherm Therapy, CPT and Postural Drainage, Some bedside PFT's.
• Infant Surfactant / Curosurf delivery.
• Assist with Endotracheal intubation of adults and newborns.
• Obtain and analyze ABG, VBG, Capillary and Cord Gasses.
• Familiar with “Code Chill” therapy.
• ETCO2 set-up and monitoring and ETCO2 use during "codes" and Intubations.
• Hyperbaric Chamber experience.
• Familiar with Nitric oxide ventilator management
