Most recently, at Globalization Partners, I drove results to expand the business to $300 million ARR in 2022, expanding engineering into Poland, N. Ireland, and India. Co-created the plan for scaling our platform monolith into Core services, Data, and Developer Enablement pillars built across AWS serverless-first technologies, including Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, SQS, and S3.
Established the Data Platform org and implemented the shift from PostgreSQL to Databricks, while supporting ERP migration to Workday. Led the creation of centralized CIAM to Auth0 and drove a policy-based authorization design to federate finer-grained controls to a domain-driven architecture. Worked with InfoSec to deliver Application Security programs and automation within CI/CD, Platform, and Dev Tools, covering SAST, SCA, DAST, Pen Testing, and Perimeter Security via WAF and Firewalls, eliminating major attack vectors and continuously prioritized next best actions.
Established a shift from DevOps anti-patterns to Developer Enablement, using Backstage as our Developer Portal to drive developer efficiency up 50%. Worked closely with InfoSec to develop a security program and review for all Infrastructure, Platform, and Product vulnerabilities and associated SLAs. Implemented the foundations of AWS Control Tower and multi-account strategies to create appropriate guardrails and granularity for domains, federate cost and performance metrics to domain owners, and increased platform availability to 99.9%.
