Hello, I am a local phlebotomist at the Independence Health System of Latrobe Hosptial. I have worked there as of 5 years on January 13th. With being in a position like mine I've learned several things and know I am still learning and get excited when I learn a new thing about my job each time.

I will never say I am the best phleb there is but I will say I do the best with what I'm given in the moment, which I feel is better than what most can say or try to do. At my current location I do full registrations using the program STAR Navagator, use Cerner to scan papers in as well as know how to look other scripts that were previously scanned in it, Allscripts for pulling scripts out from doctors who want orders added on, and finally Sunquest and roll and scroll to order, receive and many more things in their programs so I can do my variety of tasks needing to do at that moment in time. I'm always open to answering any questions that anyone has for me!
