I live in upstate NY, currently have both NY and MA RN licenses due to living so close to the Massachusetts border. I've worked most of my career in Western Massachusetts however I got my start in nursing at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY.
I've worked in the ER for 5 years, one of them being per diem as well as almost 1.5 full time years in the OR. Despite working for a rural community hospital in the Berkshires, I've seen a wide range of illnesses and injuries from patients of all ages.
I graduated with my ADN from Columbia-Greene Community College in Hudson, NY; I'm currently pursuing my Online BSN at Excelsior College based in Albany, NY.
