I am seeking to gain meaningful experiences in film with a full understanding of the work and commitment required. I am eager to work many positions and gain broad exposure. I have experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, operating cameras, setting up lights, bounces, etc.
I also have experience working as a producer's assistant. I show great attention to detail, I am hard working, motivated, excited to learn, and open to any challenge. I am excited to continue my journey into the film industry with big dreams to create my own movie/documentary one day.
I love to create and be a part of projects, I am a problem solver, I have great communication skills, I ask "how can I help?" frequently, and I love to stay busy.
I worked for Colorado Filmmaker, Amy Sabreen, on a ski related movie following an amputee learning to ski again for the first time on a prosthetic leg. Assisted with equipment setup (lights and bounces, cameras, tripods, etc.), as well as B-roll, and other miscellaneous needs (batteries, load/unloading equipment, mic setup, minor adjustments to set, etc.) I've worked with Magilla Entertainment out of NYC as a PA in Outer Banks and Pawleys Island. Worked on a total of 3 episodes, did coffee and food runs, as well as retrieving miscellaneous things as needed from the store, hotel, or vans.
Worked with a crew of 6 others, 12 hour days, drove rental cars, carried equipment, etc.
Activities included: problem solving, early mornings and long hours (12-18 hour work days in a row), assisting with gear/equipment checks, changing light bulbs, sound checks, and communication via cell phone, email, and handheld radios. I've Worked with A-frame, a production company based in NYC, as a PA for a 2-day commercial shoot with TIAA.
Tasks include: driving a sprinter van, loading and unloading lighting equipment, setting up stands, lights, etc. I've also worked with Sixty Six media, based in NYC, on a NatGeo/Disney Plus feature for a day, helped with lights, food, errands, etc.
In May of 2022, I graduated from Steamboat Mountain School- a private, college preparatory high school that focuses on advancing and fostering students' passions for education and the outdoors. I received multiple rewards during my time there including: the Service Above Self Award (11th), the Outstanding Junior Award (awarded by CU Boulder), the Visual Arts Award (11th), the Academic Dean Award (12th), the Math Award (12th), and the Science Award (12th). I was on honor roll all four years of high school and was part of the National Honor Society (10th-12th).
I travelled abroad with the school to various places (Ecuador, Texas, Utah, other cities in Colorado) for cultural experience, community service, stewardship, and to learn life skills outside of the classroom.
Fall of 2022 I enrolled in 2 online classes (Business 101 & Accounting 111) at York Technical College in South Carolina to expand my knowledge regarding small business management and operation as well as to broaden my understanding of finances.
