Carmille Smith

Hello, my name is Carmille Smith and I recently just graduated Southern University and A&M College in December 2022 with a bachelor of science in criminal justice. Prior to my commencement ceremony, I work as a merchandise/retail associate for two companies. I have been employed with one company for over four years, where as, I have been with the other for two. The reason that I’m inquiring about this job is to make a difference in society and to pave the way for future generations to come.

Throughout my work history, I have displayed skills such as adaptability, attention to detail, collaboration, multi-tasking, being hardworking, and having a strong work ethic. Oftentimes when I am at work, my employer often assigns me different tasks or departments to work in. Also when I work with new employees, I train them how to do their tasks accordingly and pinpoint any errors that may occur along the way. Lastly, I try to keep myself busy by helping others with their tasks (including my own). I arrive to work earlier than expected and sometimes I stay after my shifts to guarantee that the job is done.

I graduated from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College with a bachelor of science in criminal justice in December 2022 with a grade point average of a 3.3.
