Caroline Ayala

Hello, my name is Caroline. I am from Chicago, Illinois studying marketing at Arizona State University. I hold valuable leadership and communication skills, which have helped me become the Vice President of the Women's Club Soccer team, a W.P. Carey Facilitator, and an Honor Role Student. I plan on minoring in Architecture and Italian because these are topics I enjoy, and I feel people should fill their lives with passion, which I carry with me in everything I do.

W.P. Carey Internship Tempe, Arizona

• I have an internship as a WPC Facilitator this semester. I teach incoming business students what it means to be a student at Arizona State University. I lead this group by teaching them how to make their experience here less stressful while educating them on how to be students who can go above and beyond in their time here and in their future business roles.

Women’s Club Soccer August 2022 - May 2023

• In this role, I help my team schedule tournaments, make sure people attend service events and all games and practices, and I am in charge of team bonding which I enjoy. This position makes me feel fulfilled and has helped me grow as a leader.
• Led a team tryout with over 150 girls.

Crew Chief May 2022 - August 2022 

• I did a summer internship at College Works Painting as the crew chief. I got to painting sites early in the morning and ensured my crew stayed on task. This involved moving supplies to different sites in my car, leadership responsibilities, and talking to clients. I learned the importance of time management because if a project wasn’t finished on time, we had to stay until it was completed.

• I handled customer issues, hosted, washed dishes, set up tables for different parties, and much more. I made great connections with the people I served and my coworkers, leading me only to improve each time I came to work.

• At Draft Picks, I dealt with customer issues, set up tables for parties, helped the cooks set up to-go orders, took to go-orders, seated customers, and so much more. It was my first job in the restaurant industry.

Relevant Coursework: As the Vice President of Women's Club Soccer at Arizona State University, I have helped lead tryouts of over 100 girls by directing warmups and drills and helping pick teams. I plan to help with activities throughout the year to get the girls to know each other better and create an environment where we all have fun but are competitive on the field. I am so excited to continue in this position.

As a facilitator, I lead a small class of 20 freshmen and help them navigate Arizona State University.
