I'm a creative and analytical thinking. I studied mathematics and computer science in college, and I trade fx options in my current role. I am a team player and d-III club national champion in water polo.
Through my experience trading FX Options at Credit Agricole, I have strengthened my general financial knowledge, and developed excellent analytical and communication skills. In order to price options in the broker market and manage risk, my job requires me to understand how six different types of risk for a dozen different currency pairs would be affected in a multitude of different scenarios, and to manage that risk at a moment’s notice. The analytical skills I have strengthened while working for FXO will be of great benefit in my next role.
In Summer 2021, as a Credit Risk Analyst at Brookline Bancorp, I utilized Excel extensively and wrote memoranda, allowing me to strengthen my research and storytelling skills. To prepare tables and figures for memoranda, I performed calculations using a large data set. I have also presented my findings to bank executives, used data to tell a story and provided a data-informed background which impacted decisions at the bank.
As a math major and computer science minor at Middlebury College, I have completed several courses in statistics and data science. I have used data sets to create visualizations to tell compelling stories about trends in the real estate market. During a resurgence in the pandemic, I remade Middlebury’s convoluted COVID reporting dashboard, so that viewers could visualize information on new positive COVID cases and total positive COVID cases at the school in a straightforward manner.
At Middlebury, I have learned to think creatively and communicate effectively.
