I am a computer and electrical engineering masters student at the University of Florida. I have had two summer internships at the Aerospace Corporation and I have been a research assistant at the Robo Pi lab at the University of Florida. I am interested in many aspects of computer engineering, specifically computer vision and machine learning.
Robo Pi Lab, The University of Florida, August - December 2022
I worked on various projects including the Underwater Data Center Project, where I collaborated with the hardware security department to research whether acoustic signals attack HDD’s underwater in the same way they do in air. Investigated Turtlebot 3 applications including autonomous mapping, wall-following, and person-following.
The Aerospace Corporation, Vehicle Systems Division Technical Intern IV, June - August 2022
I worked with the electromechanical controls department to test various hardware elements. I replicated the accelerometer portion of an IMU sensor to mimic what is seen on launch vehicles, and characterized the hardware by performing scale factor, bias, temperature and vibration testing. I Utilized Texas Instruments analog-to-digital converter and Lab View software to test.
I Supported a simulated launch by analyzing real-time data for an (IMU) Inertial Measurement Unit. I Utilized python programming language to update post-processing tools for signal and spectral analysis.
The Aerospace Corporation, Vehicle Systems Division Technical Intern III , June - August 2021
I Used spectral analysis techniques and knowledge of dynamic environments to perform analysis for various parts of the vehicle including the engine. I performed in-house hardware testing using a Data Acquisition System and Modal Shaker to create a Finite Element Model to simulate how various types of fasteners on a Payload Attach Fitting affect its dynamic response. I Utilized Femap, MATLAB, Python, and NX Nastran to further refine the model.
I graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Engineering in May of 2022. I am currently enrolled at the University of Florida pursuing a masters degree in electrical and computer engineering.
