Catherine Pirato

My name is Catherine Pirato. I am from Mount Sinai, New York. I graduated from Mount Sinai High School in June of 2023 With Honors In Biology, Psychology and English. I am currently attending Saint Joseph’s University of Long Island Studying Biology with a minor of Psychology.

During my free time I am currently tutoring disabled children and donating to my local church while playing lacrosse. These skills have taught me so much about teamwork and determination that will create a successful environment for me in the workforce. I am very excited to start my career in the heath care field and helping others!

Tutoring disabled children has been one of the most rigorous but gratifying jobs I have ever experienced. Teaching children with disabilities has taught me how to overcome problems and enjoy the success of others. Watching my students make high honnor role is the most humbling and honorable experience I have ever encountered.

These teaching skills have taught me so much about disabilities, life and hard work. I believe this experience has set me up best for all of my challenges and careers I will face.

I attended Mount Sinai High School from September of 2019 to June of 2023. Throughout my time at mount Sinai I participated in Clubs, Spanish Language and sports. I graduated with Honnors of Biology, Psychology and English. I am currently attending Saint Joseph’s University Of Long Island pursing a Degree in Biology and Minor in Psychology with hopes of a career in health care. I greatly enjoy learning and I am very excited to see where my degree guides me!
