My name is Catherine S. Scott. Over the last decade, I've taken on a variety of challenging and exciting roles, ones that often tested my leadership, management and administration skills. During my undergraduate education at Stony Brook University, I juggled being the president of Stony Brook's LGBTA and managing my intense academic responsibilities as a Journalism major. During my graduate education, I oversaw over a hundred organizations with Stony Brook's department of Student Engagement & Activities, managed a staff of over a dozen interns at Stony Brook's LGBTQ* Services department, and excelled through the Higher Education Administration program at an accelerated pace.
In my free time, I write tabletop roleplaying games, go for walks, game and chat with friends. I'm also a strong advocate for transgender rights in my personal life (I am trans myself) and I try to bring that into every workplace I enter.
