In my dental assisting program at school, I am gaining comprehensive training in various essential skills and knowledge areas. This includes learning about dental anatomy, mastering infection control procedures, and understanding radiography techniques. I am also acquiring hands-on experience in assisting during dental procedures, managing patient records, and providing patient care.

Additionally, my coursework covers dental materials, office management, and communication skills, preparing me to be an effective and efficient dental assistant in a professional setting. This training is equipping me with the necessary expertise to support dentists and ensure patients receive high-quality dental care.

I worked at Chick-fil-A for a year, where I gained valuable customer service experience. My responsibilities included taking orders, preparing food, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers. I also handled cash transactions, managed inventory, and collaborated with my team to maintain high standards of service and efficiency. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

I am currently attending UEI College, where I am gaining hands-on experience in dental assisting. The program is designed to prepare me for a career in a dental office by providing practical training in a real-world environment. At UEI College, I am learning essential skills such as dental procedures, patient care, and office management, which will be invaluable when I get hired in a dental office.

This education is equipping me with the knowledge and experience needed to excel in the dental assisting field. I do not have my certifications yet but I am also almost done with school.
