• Tools in Squad Car- Used radar gun, learned about body cams, as well as the radio and computer
• Speaking to people- Talked to people about their charges and charges they wanted to make

Summer School ESL Student Assistant at Community Experience (2017-06 – 2017-07)

Typically my days consisted of helping students get to classes and sitting with them in classes and helping them translate any academic material, as well as providing any additional assistance with homework.

• Translation- Documents and conversation for young children and adults
• Guided Individuals- Children as well as adults around two separate schools
• Activities- Participated and formulated ideas to keep children entertained

Student Advisor Officer at FFA (2020-09 – 2021-05)

In the FFA I would typically help with organizing community events, such as days on the farm, where we taught fourth grade students to understand where their food comes from. I would also organize fundraisers, such as our plant sales, where I worked in the school greenhouse as one of three managers.

• Food For America- Explained to fourth graders the importance of Agriculture
• Senior Citizen Night- Went to the local senior center, played games and kept them company
• Food Pantry- Helped find and harvest a head of cattle, as well as collecting canned goods
