About
Legal workflow engineer and conflicts clearance professional who builds legal applications—conceived, designed, and built a firm-wide conflicts clearance application for new business and lateral intake, which is now entering production.
Experience
Legal Workflow Engineer & Product Owner at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP (2026-01 – Present)
- Independently conceived, designed, architected, built and managed the deployment of the Conflicts Clearance Console, a legal application that to an incredibly significant degree streamlines, organizes and automates from end-to-end the clearance process for both new business intake and lateral attorney hiring and that has been repeatedly noted by the Assistant General Counsel to be of "incredibly high value to the firm."
- Designed the entire application solo using AI development tools (Gemini, Claude, and Claude Code), translating conflicts-domain expertise into prompt-driven specifications, UX, and system architecture with no prior engineering background, a development process that the firm's Head of AI Business Systems called "one of the most advanced uses of AI [he had] seen with no assistance."
- Eliminated the need for voluminous, unnecessary data entry by integrating the console with Elegrity Conflicts Manager, so entering a single conflicts search number pulls and organizes every party and hit into a live dashboard that contains high-level details of the request, allows for individual party analysis and serves as a request-specific file repository.
- Created an interactive and searchable conflicts report section where analysts can quickly review conflict hits across multiple categories, flag concerns, and select hits determined to be potential conflicts.
- Automated clearance outreach via an Outlook-integrated outreach generation engine and dashboard that composes upon a single click of a button comprehensive, ready-to-send clearance emails for all responsive hits, significantly expediting the most labor-intensive step of the clearance process.
- Designed a one-click clearance summary export that compiles party analysis, hit findings, outreach status, and supporting files into a formatted, print-ready report on demand, backed by a categorized document repository and a full audit trail logging every action taken on a matter or lateral entry.
Conflicts Clearance Analyst, Office of General Counsel at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP (2025-10 – 2026-01)

- Supervise and train on a continual basis all incoming Conflicts Clearance Analysts.
- Conduct conflicts research across iManage Conflicts Management / Elegrity, S&P Capital IQ, and D&B Hoovers to map corporate affiliations, adverse parties, and prior representations.

New Business Conflicts Clearance Analyst at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (2024-09 – 2025-10)
- Cleared new-business intake across the firm's 21 global offices, analyzing corporate ownership, adverse parties, and regulatory obligations to surface ethical and legal risks.
- Advised attorneys and coordinated cross-office stakeholders (Records, Billing, Compliance) to resolve conflicts under deadline, maintaining iManage / Intapp Conflicts Manager records for auditability.
Junior Paralegal, Litigation at Kirkland & Ellis LLP (2023-09 – 2024-05)
