Hello! I am Charis McCann and have been a Special Education Teacher teaching students anywhere from kindergarten through high school. My specialties include language arts, social-emotional learning, social skills, autism spectrum disorder, and learning disabilities. I am experienced in working with students who have academic and behavior special needs. My background before becoming a licensed teacher includes reading tutoring for Americorps and private tutoring companies. I have taught students via online and virtual platforms as well as in the classroom.
