I am a passionate educator who loves to help aid students in their success. As I transition out of the classroom, I am looking for positions that allow me to express the variety of skills that I have learned inside and outside the office. I am highly capable with technology, education, student support, and organizational management.
Independent Study Coordinator and English Teacher, Excelsior Charter (2023 - Present)
As the Independent Study Coordinator for the Excelsior Charter Redlands campus, I manage a large caseload of students, and counsel them on their educational levels of progress. I coordinate meetings between the families, students, administration, and myself regularly, in order to discuss data points, student progress, and recommendations for student success. I provide one-on-one instruction to all students, and collect individualized data via various operating systems.
As the English Secondary teacher for the campus, I teach six sections of English, to all four secondary grades. I craft unit and lesson plans, and execute them across a hundred students. I report grade data, give feedback, and communicate with families regularly.
English Teacher, Redlands Unified School District (2021- 2023)
As an English teacher at the Redlands High School campus, I was responsible for the curriculum and instruction of 150+ students, across grades ninth to eleventh. I crafted unit and lesson plans, reported grade data, gave student feedback, and communicated with families regularly. I attended professional development regularly, and critically self-reflected on my practices.
Master’s of Arts in English Literature, Cal State San Bernardino (2021 - 2024)
In the Master’s program for English Literature at California State University of San Bernardino, I focused my work primarily on disability and ethnic studies. During this time, I had several in-house and out-of house publications.

In the Master’s program for Teaching at USC, I additionally received my Secondary English Credential and ELD Credentialing.
