Chris Shaw's professional journey started when he was the 2nd Assistant Director on the TV Pilot, 9Realms: Angel of Death. He would then go on to be the 1st Assistant Director on several feature films including, A Wrestling Christmas Miracle, which stars Martin Kove, Gilbert Gottfried, and Scott Schwartz. Chris has also worked with artists such as Offset and Kiana Ledé.
Chris has become an award-winning filmmaker, writing and directing numerous short films that have premiered within the major film festival circuit. He utilizes his arthouse style to bring abstract visuals into everyday life. These visuals derive from the gothic images of German Expressionism and the painterly frames from films such as, An American in Paris.
He focuses on stories that are influenced from his own life so that the audience can resonate and feel the intimacy between the creator and the film. Chris' most recent project, The Flower That Never Wilts, stars Michael Evans Behling, TJ Shaw, Cyrus Hobbi, and Sarah Kaufmann.
