Christina Montano

I’m a grad from the College for Creative Studies, where I majored in Communication Design and minored in Illustration. I come up with unconventional solutions to problems. I love creating things that make people laugh or make them happy. I’m interested in all areas of design, but I especially love branding and experience. Clients that I have worked with include: Facebook, Levi's, Camel, Better Together, and more.

When I’m not designing or drawing, you can catch me volunteering at Leader Dogs for the Blind, reading sci-fi and horror books/comics, watching a weird documentary, or going to rock concerts.

I have worked in various settings, remote, freelancing, in house and in an agency. I’ve been fortunate to work on a number of projects throughout the last three years that include experiential applications, branding, deck design, print design, and motion design in the B2B, B2C, entertainment, government, and education sectors.

Graduated from the College for Creative Studies in 2019 with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Illustration. Active member of the Detroit AIGA student chapter. Frequently attended and participated in workshops and lectures, on average 10 a year. Awarded a merit based scholarship. Work has been featured in the College for Creative Studies SEO and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.
