Hello , I'm Charles Craddock . I'm currently a journeyman ironworker for Local 40 NYC ironworkers . The industry has been slow for 3 years so I am here looking for steady work that is closer to home .
I worked at triple c nurseries in Holmdel NJ for the 10 years of my twenties . I was the Colts Neck plant nursery and retail store manager . I also did plantings for this company . While I was there I drove skid steers everyday from New Holland , bobcat and John Deere. Occasionally I would drive front end loaders by John Deere ,CAT and Kubota.
I left this job to become a local 40 ironworker in NYC. I have worked there for 12 years doing various ironworker journeyman jobs on skyscrapers and bridges. I most recently connected the overhead sign structure walkways on the GWB. I also was a foreman at 50 Hudson yards of the in-fill gang . The gang that puts the iron up under the jumping tower cranes . I also ran a small renovation job at NYU
I have a college certificate for landscape design from cook college of Rutgers .
I have some credits from Brookdale for radiological technician. I did not finish this degree as the cost of school became to high .
