I have a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences (2016) followed by an AS in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) skills (2019). My ASCP re-certification currently runs through June of 2025. I have completed all of the requirements for the next re-certification which will run through June of 2028.
I am a member of ASCP and attended two national conferences: in 2021 ( Boston) and 2022 (Chicago). I currently work solo on night shift at a large hospital in the Microbiology section of the core lab and occasionally work in the Urinalysis and Coagulation section. I am open to cross training on the job into other areas.
I hope to begin working day shift, sooner rather than later. So far I have worked odd hours for 4 years: 1 ½ as a Specimen Lab Tech Assistant and 2 ½ as an MLT. Some day I would like to live closer to my relatives in the suburbs west of Philadelphia.

My most relevant education is the AS in Medical Laboratory Technician skill which I earned after earning a BA. Also, all of the recertification requirements of the ASCP are relevant to the field of pathology.
