Marine life offers countless solutions to problems the human race encounters; chemicals to cure diseases or displays of mimicry that teach us how to adapt in this beautiful habitat. I want to merge my passion for the ocean with my drive to make a difference on our carbon footprint. I see myself as outgoing, determined, and optimistic.
I love to make new connections and work collaboratively in a team setting. I plan on working my way up to a position of leadership not just in the workforce, but in my life as well. Trust and respect are two key traits I like to exercise daily in all areas of my life.
Communication and attention to detail are important when working in a lab setting. My daily tasks include scheduling vendors, managing a small team of document specialists, and ensuring our space is compliant with current regulations. I am responsible for reporting and investigating nonconformances that may occur; I am also responsible for implementing action plans or process improvements. I ensure my team is compliant with all SOPs/WIs and will update those documents as needed.
Health I have become well versed in good manufacturing practices; I have drafted and executed technical summaries, validation protocols, and lot history records. At the beginning of my Laboratory Supervisor career I coordinated and facilitated a laboratory move between facilities; this includes equipment, paperwork, and personnel.
