Film Photography in Belize June-August 2021

- Took a solo trip to Belize and shot various subjects and places with a 35mm film camera
- Photographed Mayan temples, natural wonders, people, markets, and towns in order to capture the essence and beauty of the country
- Efficiently replaced film and adjusted film camera settings in various locations such as on a boat at sea, the jungle, and a naturally made cave
- Created a visually appealing physical zine of the experience made of film photographs taken on the trip
Trail Maintenance Photography For National Forest Service March 2023 – Present
Volunteer Photography Western North Carolina and Tennessee
- Photographing trail maintenance volunteer groups on the Appalachian Trail for the National Forest Service to use in brochures
- Working out in the field to capture the process of trail maintenance, including water diversion, carrying logs, and building new steps or bridges from natural materials
- Includes having awareness of various volunteers doing different jobs in order to know when events are happening for photographs (cutting down a tree, building steps, etc.)
- Making adjustments to photos in Lightroom to achieve a desirable and appealing image
