• Supervised interns on safety precautions when working in the field and how to utilize equipment for sample collection and data recording
• Collected and Maintained soil respiration data, water content, and samples from a wide variety of dense understory pine national forests
• Traveled to sites 1-7 hours away and stayed out of state as required
