My name is Cooper Bennett, and I am entering my second year studying meteorology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. I live in Metuchen, New Jersey, and downtown is a short walk away from my home. In my free time, I love going to the beach, sailing, hiking, and spending time with friends.
For the past five years, I have worked as a summer camp counselor in Point O’ Woods which is a community on Fire Island, New York. I was responsible for children between the ages of 5-12. Being a camp counselor taught me crucial leadership skills in regards to both the campers and my fellow counselors. I also learned skills such as responsibility, teamwork, and time-management. I am a quick learner and will always be proactive.
I graduated from Metuchen High School in 2023. Currently, I am entering my second year at Rutgers University.
