My name is Crystin Neitzel, and I am a current first-year student at the University of Washington entering my second year this coming fall! I plan to major in Industrial & Systems Engineering. Through my coursework at UW, I have developed a strong foundation in problem solving and analytical thinking. I am highly motivated to learn, contribute ideas, and gain exposure to engineering operations.
Although I am early in my academic career, I am eager to take initiative in any form possible. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this opportunity further.
My professional experience consists of high-energy operations and leadership with a career defined by rapid growth, precision, and organizational ability. My professional journey first began in academic instruction at Kumon. I developed a foundational of data tracking and root-cause problem-solving along with leadership to guide others. I have since scaled those skills into other sectors. Later in my career the summer of 2024 I was a Manufacturing Operations Analyst for Boeing managing complex site logistics. To add to my professional background I worked in a high paced and team lead environment as a hostess: The Keg Steakhouse + Bar (2023 - Present). These jobs has led me to thrive in high paced environments, hospitality, team collaboration, and the ability to align operational schedules with high-volume demands.
I am currently enrolled as a full time student at the University of Washington located in Seattle. I am in my first year, graduated from Kamiak High School with a 3.9 GPA, and ranking 10% of my class. During my time in high school, I was apart of the National Honor Society, and taking a total of 12 AP and honor courses. While being a student at the University of Washington my plans are to be bachelor of Science in Industrial and System Engineering on the Pre-Med track. My expected graduation is in 2029.
