Cynthia Leah Okoko

I am currently enrolled in a part-time MBA program, focusing on expanding my expertise in finance and accounting. I am eager to gain practical experience in the accounting field to complement my academic studies. I have developed a foundational understanding of bookkeeping and have hands-on experience with income tax preparation.

However, I am keen to deepen my knowledge in areas such as financial analysis, auditing, and tax strategy. I am particularly interested in taking on opportunities that allow me to apply theoretical concepts in real-world scenarios and learn from experienced professionals in the industry.

I have six months of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, during which I developed a solid understanding of financial record-keeping and accounting principles. Additionally, I completed a comprehensive course in income tax while employed at a tax preparation firm, where I gained valuable insights into tax regulations, deductions, and filing processes. This combination of practical experience and academic knowledge has equipped me with the skills necessary to effectively manage financial statements and assist clients with their tax-related inquiries.

I currently hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and management information systems. I am in the process of pursuing my Master of Business Administration (MBA). My MBA studies are focused on finance or Marketing, which I believe will greatly enhance my skills and knowledge in the business world.
