My name is dana i am a certified medical assistant at texas heart and vascular. I have been with texas heart and vascular for a little over a year and would like to gain a little more experience elsewhere within the same specialty. I love building connections with the patients i see day to day.
I am bilingual as well, at my current job i am somebody someone looks for to translate when we have a spanish speaking patient. I feel i have learned a lot working as a cardilogy medical assistant and would love to stay within the same specialty.
● Attach Holter/event monitors and teach patients how to use them
● Set up and perform electrocardiograms
● Obtain accurate vital signs and document correctly
● Review & update all current medications & reconcile
● Prepare telemedicine visits
● Review current symptoms & notify provider for any abnormal readings
● Attention to detail
● Refill medications
