Hello my name is Daniel Garcia and ive worked at T-Mobile Arena and currently work at Crypto Arena, doing Conversion Operations.
- Assembled various courts from college pac 12 to the very first in NBA in-season tournament courts built in Las Vegas
- Installed entire basketball bleacher systems and perfected them in every way possible
- Installed the court nets by forklift multiple times
- Built decks for seating and laid out all assigned seats by understanding the mapping system
- Dry and wet mopped courts and cleaned them regularly
- Slammed all court pieces in place once they've been pinned down properly
- Installed glass with teams of 4 for hockey setups
- Installed dashers properly the first time (meaning straight all the way down)
- Cleaned from drink spills and other messes with backpack sprayers on the ice
- Regularly hosed flooded and added ice in any areas that need more ice
- Helped maintain the ice and lower bowl by checking all of the work that conversion's did and fixing anything that may be wrong
- Fixed glass flips because they are facing the wrong way (stickers, measurements, scratches facing the crowd when they are supposed to face the ice)
- Made adjustments to dashers so they are game ready (so pucks don't bounce off the wall mid-game)
- Was on the Vegas Golden Knights ice crew (not the shovel girls but the crew in charge of maintenance on the ice during the game)
- Was in charge of drilling holes for pegs that go to the net
- Checked the net every single tv timeout and removed nets once Zambonis enter the ice
- Walked the ice and slushed the bad gashes in the ice to keep the players from getting hurt
- Owns a VGK Stanley Cup ring for work on the ice crew
- Was the most knowledgeable in department when it came to chair sets
- Was the only conversion co that was assigned to EVERY chair set
- Accurately prepared magnets and stickers for all individual sections
- Downstacked all chair racks needed for the floor and gathered spacing tools
- Mapped out all measurements on the floor with tape line to get outline
- Was the fastest person to connect chairs and space them properly
- Achieved fastest UFC chair set record of 2.5 hours
- Achieved fastest concert chair set record of 1.5 hours
- Removed entire bleacher sections called extravaganzas along with the feet they sit on
- Drove on the ice multiple times to load/unload ice deck
- Stacked chair carts and dasher carts on top of one another
- Moved stacks of bike rack wherever is needed
- Stacked pallets on shelves
