Danielle Cohen-Bautista is a California licensed English instructor with 25+ years of experience developing and implementing ELA and humanities curriculum for students K-Adult. She earned her B.A. in Anthropology at Indiana University, Bloomington (1993) and her M.A. in English at Butler University, Indianapolis (1999).
During her tenure as a California public high school teacher, Cohen directed the online credit recovery program for English and Social Studies, earned her Leading Edge Digital Educator credential from the Riverside County Office of Education, taught research courses for the University of Phoenix online, and participated in AVID training and in Conscious Education workshops.
Cohen's passion for social justice and promotion of multicultural understanding inform her curriculum development and instruction. She is currently working to develop an online education institution, a teacher support forum, and a local community center while supporting her own children's careers in the arts and media.
