Danielle Kwong

I have always enjoyed taking on many creative disciplines, even when it means to solve problems through the power of design! Who would've known that stacking Legos as a kid would lead to my career path to designing impactful spaces in the real world?

Working as an assistant designer have shown me the importance of efficient collaboration and different ways to present possible solutions to unexpected problems. I have grown as an aspiring young designer, and I believe that my self-driven curiosity have led me to this point of my career.

Outside of work, I enjoy going on nature walks, meeting up with friends for hot coco, and picking up new hobbies every year. 🍂

As an assistant designer for the past 2 years, I am responsible for drafting existing K-12 school buildings to start renovations and/or additions. Outside of the office, I assist in taking measurements and photographs during building surveys. When assigned the scope of the project, I am also responsible for picking samples for the interiors including tiling and flooring. I coordinate with project managers and communicate with engineers in order to push the project forward in the right direction.

I received my Bachelors of Architecture in 2019 and my Masters of Architecture in 2021 from University at Buffalo.
